Cthugha (pronounced "katoogah") is one of the first (if not the first!) music visualization computer program. It was written by Kevin "Zaph" Burfitt for the IBM PC in the mid 90's, and then spread to the world.
I was still accessing BBS's when I first met this thing (I think it I found it on
Connect'r'Die! BBS from my friend Mingo) - I think circa 1994 or 95.
One of the first pages I had looked for when I finally get Internet Access in '96 was the Cthugha Homepage. That still exists. :-)
